Permission to Feel Everything

We live in a world that often rushes to wrap pain in platitudes.
“Stay positive.”
“Look on the bright side.”
“At least it’s not worse.”
But what if the truth is… you’re angry?
Or numb?
Or grieving something that doesn’t have a name?
This week, I want to offer you something radical:
Permission to feel everything.
Not just the tidy emotions.
Not just the ones that make others comfortable.
But the full, messy, beautiful spectrum of being human.
Anger is valid.
Sadness is sacred.
Joy is powerful.
Numbness is real.
You don’t have to explain your feelings.
You don’t have to rush through them.
You don’t have to turn them into a lesson or a silver lining.
You are allowed to feel without fixing.
To sit with your emotions without solving them.
To honor your heart exactly as it is.
Because healing doesn’t come from pretending.
It comes from presence.
From truth.
From giving yourself the grace to be whole—even when you feel broken.
This week, I invite you to check in with yourself.
What are you feeling—really?
What have you been pushing down, apologizing for, or trying to “get over”?
Let’s talk about it.
Drop a comment, send a message, or simply whisper it to yourself:
“I’m allowed to feel this.”
You are. And you’re not alone.
Beryl
